Estimated Costs of Attendance

Lehigh’s costs of attendance are estimated at $51,000 annually for a majority of programs for students enrolling in 9 credits per semester.  This estimate includes tuition and fees, room & board, and related costs associated with living and studying in Bethlehem, PA.  Tuition is assessed by the credit hour, which will impact the total cost each semester, please note the tuition rates differ between the colleges, click here to access fee schedule information.

Note that if you are an international student, in order to issue an I-20 or DS-2019 so you can apply for an F-1 or J-1 visa, you must be formally admitted to the university and we need to ensure that you have financial support for the cost of study at Lehigh (as outlined above).

Students on F-1 and J-1 visas do not have permission to work off-campus except in very limited circumstances. There are a limited number of on-campus jobs available. Unless your department offers you a teaching or research assistantship (for graduate students), you should not expect to support yourself with income from employment in the United States.

Note that if you do not meet your financial obligations as a student, you will not be allowed to register for courses until these obligations are met.
